We welcome companies allied with the music industry who seek to provide interns with meaningful industry experience in a business setting. Our students must complete most music business courses before obtaining an internship. We want to be sure they are ready to contribute to your organization. In order to be considered for our program, you must fill out a company application. The application will be reviewed by the internship coordinator and your information will be placed in our database. Qualified members of our internship program must provide a business setting with at least two full-time employees. No "home-office" settings or "work-from-home" arrangements permitted. A supervisor must be appointed for the intern and is responsible for signing all log sheets, evaluations and other documents related to the internship. |
We are in the process of constructing an internship network that will allow you to post and modify your own internship requests, as well as browse through student resumes. We hope to have this in operation by January 2010. Each spring semester we host a career day and invite companies to attend to recruit students for job openings and internships. As a member of our database, you will receive notification of these events.
