Review of Winter Fire in Romantic Times
Rated excellent ****
Branded a traitor to Scotland after the Battle of Culloden, Lachlan Maclean carries a heavy burden, even though the treacherous Campbell has allowed him to remain on his beloved island of Mull and remain laird of the clan in name only.
Living in near solitude, the brooding highlander does his best to care for his clansmen when Fiona Fraser arrives from France and is hired as his cook.
Seventeen years ago, Fionas family followed the Prince into exile. She returns to her homeland following Sir Hector MacLeans deathbed commandthat she find the long-lost MacLean treasure.
Lachlan and Fiona are drawn together, but their love will mean the salvation of Lachlan and the MacLean clan if they can uncover the truth and the real villain.
Merged here are the wonders of the Highlands, the history surrounding the aftermath of Culloden, a ghost, an undeniable passion and Fionas special power to heal wounds of the body and soul. In this final volume of The Clan Maclean, all the threads are tied together in a memorable story. SENSUAL (Oct., 350 pp., $5.99)

Review of Autumn Flame in The Romance Reader
"Autumn Flame marks the second release from an interesting new voice in the romance genre. Lynne Hayworth has a style that will please a lot of readers who have been around for a while and quite a few who are fairly new to romance....Autumn Flame is a grand romance in the old style. Diarmid and Lucy are delightful together, and the complex, seductive story packs an emotional wallop. Lynne Hayworth is a sparkling new talent, and if Autumn Flame is any indication, we have much to anticipate."
Zebra Books has published Lynne Hayworth's three romantic historical novels entitled "The Clan Maclean." The first book, Summer's End, is set in Colonial New England and is in short supply but still available through Barnes and Noble. The second, Autumn Flame (set in Colonial Virginia), was released in April 2001; and the last, Winter Fire (set in the Scottish Highlands) was released in October 2001.
