Instructions for Final Exam

Taking the quizzes

You can take the quizzes on your own schedule, but you must take them before the deadline for each. It is strong recommended that you do not wait until the final hour to take each quiz. Sometimes technical difficulties (or tornados) get in the way. The quizzes are OPEN BOOK, but they are also TIMED. That makes it a challenge and requires you to read and organize the materials before starting the quiz.

Quizzes are administered on D2L and are monitored by the system. You are allowed to look up answers on the Internet, your readings, or other sources--but not each other. The system can tell if you are working in collusion.

You need to show up to take the final

You must appear in person to take the final exam. It is proctored by the professor. If you cannot attend on the scheduled time and date, or you are not in the Murfreesboro area, you must make arrangements through the distance learning testing center to take the test at a different time or location, with a proctor approved by the distance learning office. You must attend the final exam on Friday, April 30 from 10-12 in room BAS S137E (the computer lab of the Business Aerospace Building) or make arrangements to have the exam proctored at a different time or in a different location. And be on time to the final.

You need to study this for the final

The final is not open-book and you have 90 minutes to complete it. There are no review sheets for each of the quizzes, but you will have access to review sheets for the final exam through the content section on D2L.

These will not be made available until all students have completed the quizzes. You will not have access to the quiz questions, but the study guide will include all information that may be asked on the final exam.
