Tom and Lynne Hutchison visit the Canadian Rockies
On our first visit to the Canadian Rockies, we spent the first night, Saturday, at a B&B near Calgary. On Sunday, we went to Emerald Lake Lodge for 2 nights. We hiked around the lake and up to Hamilton Falls. On Tuesday night we went to Moraine Lake Lodge. Wednesday, we hiked up to Larch Valley where this picture was taken. We also hiked to the Lake Agnes Tea House above Lake Louise on that same day. We spent Wednesday and Thursday nights in Banff at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge. We enjoyed tea at the Banff Springs Hotel and hiked around the Bow River and the Hoodoos. On Friday it rained so we went back to the Lake Louise Chateau to shop and then headed back to Calgary. The trip was too short and we vowed to return the next year and spend more time at each place.
